Our client wanted to do her part in the revitalization effort where she grew up in the historic Columbus Park district of KC. Everything but the roof and windows was replaced with environmentally friendly fiber-cement siding and engineered wood trim. To achieve the appropriate period look and break up the long narrow appearance of the 15’ x 40’ two story “Row House”, we used five inch lap siding on the main level combined with simulated cedar shingle siding for the lower. The two-tone paint job with lots of trim and an accent color helped create a Craftsman look for the rejuvenated Columbus Park home.
